Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 21st, 2026

Application and Developer Information

This Privacy Policy is valid solely for the mobile software PlayCine (referred to as the "App") made available through Google Play.

The App is designed, owned, and managed by Zama Zama (identified as the "Developer," "we," "our," or "us" in this document). Any mention of "we," "our," or "us" within this policy denotes Zama Zama, the legal party accountable for PlayCine's operations.

For users who obtain PlayCine via Google Play, this policy outlines how your data is collected, utilized, retained, and shared during your use of the App.

Process Outline

  1. Users submit images and select a preferred design template.
  2. A dedicated version of the stable diffusion model is fine-tuned with the submitted data to tailor the output.
  3. Following fine-tuning, the system produces a custom avatar using the adjusted model.
  4. Upon avatar completion, both the submitted images and the fine-tuned model version are permanently erased from our systems. It is important to note that avatar generation is subject to content restrictions—for instance, explicit imagery or the unauthorized use of others' photographs is prohibited.
  5. Your personal information is never employed for broad model enhancement or for building any other independent AI offerings.

Cloud Processing Initiated by Users

PlayCine offers selected AI-powered editing, enhancement, and rendering functions via protected cloud infrastructure. Such cloud-based operations are activated solely when you deliberately engage a function that depends on server-side computation.

Upload Conditions

Images, clips, or other files are transmitted to our protected systems only after you have manually chosen a cloud-dependent option and confirmed the start of the process. PlayCine does not forward your personal media automatically, in the background, or without clear user action. Prior to any transmission, the App makes it clear that cloud processing is necessary.

Storage and Erasure

Transferred media is kept only as long as needed to finish the requested operation. Both the original uploads and the final outputs are automatically and irreversibly deleted within 72 hours after the task is done. Zama Zama maintains no copies of your uploaded materials and does not use your data for promotions, AI training, behavioral analysis, or any other unrelated activities.

Security Measures

All data transfers to and from our servers are safeguarded with TLS encryption, following established industry practices. Access to any submitted materials is confined solely to automated processing components and essential infrastructure personnel required to deliver the requested functionality.

Content Awareness

We make every effort to calibrate the AI system for broad appropriateness. Nevertheless, there remains a possibility that you may come across material that does not align with your personal preferences. Should you encounter anything that strikes you as offensive or objectionable, we encourage you to reach out to us at dotopenimpex@gmail.com. We will respond swiftly, and your input also contributes to refining our algorithm over the long term.

Data We Gather

1. Platform Interaction Information

We may gather data regarding your usage of our Platforms, including pages visited, items clicked, files downloaded, content you share, video modification actions, and other inputs made during service use. This assists us in providing and maintaining Platform functionalities for you.

2. Device and System Logs

To ensure reliable and protected operations, improve user satisfaction, facilitate promotional content and message distribution, and safeguard your account integrity, we collect specific device and log information when you access our services via the Platforms. This encompasses: unique device ID, GAID, handset model, system language preference, nation, advertising identifier, OS type and version, IP address, software edition, network access method, connection quality indicators, and system activity records.

3. Customer Support and Feedback Records

When you contact us for help or to offer opinions, we gather the details and attachments you supply, together with your contact information (including phone number and email). This enables us to address your concerns and provide necessary assistance.

4. Facial Feature Data

When you utilize facial editing or compositing capabilities, we automatically identify the locations and contours of your facial points to extract required data for image manipulation. The processed outputs are subsequently delivered back to you. We do not preserve these images, clips, facial measurements, or resulting outputs, nor do we pass them to outside parties. This operation is performed exclusively to enable the facial recognition functionality and to refine your final results. In cases where your edits involve another individual's facial attributes, it is your duty to notify that person and secure their consent.

5. Cloud-Assisted Operations

To facilitate rapid and precise image or video manipulation, we may temporarily send your files or relevant markers to a cloud server for result production. These transfers are performed strictly for the particular task you have asked for. We do not hold onto the files, markers, or associated information beyond the required timeframe, nor are they applied to any unrelated uses or disclosed to outside entities.

Device Permissions We May Request

To deliver better offerings, streamlined functionality, and a more seamless experience, we may seek certain permissions on your device when activating extra capabilities. Subject to your approval and in line with the principle of gathering only the bare minimum required, we may access the following permissions and the associated data:

  1. External Storage Access – Enables reading from and writing to your device's external memory card to support video modification tasks.
  2. Camera Access – Permits you to capture images and record video clips directly within the application.
  3. Network Connectivity – Facilitates multiple online functions, including retrieving and downloading external content.

The information linked to these permissions is regarded as sensitive. Should you choose not to grant a permission, this will merely restrict your use of the particular feature dependent on it; all other application functions will remain available to you. You may review your current permission settings at any time via your device's system preferences, and you are free to turn any or all of these permissions on or off as you see fit.

Please note that by approving a permission, you are consenting to our collection and handling of related personal details exclusively for delivering the corresponding service. If you later deactivate a permission, this action withdraws your prior approval, and from that moment onward we will cease gathering or processing personal information reliant on that permission. However, disabling a permission does not affect any data collection or use that took place while the permission remained active.

External SDKs and Partner Services

To enable essential functionality, perform analytical activities, and facilitate transactions made within the application, PlayCine incorporates several third-party software development kits (SDKs). Each of these SDKs may gather and handle specific device-related information and behavioral data as outlined below. All such activities take place solely after you have provided your acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

Data collected: Only when you actively choose to sign in, we receive your basic profile information (name and email address) as provided by your Google account. No data is collected passively.
  6. Functional Libraries (No Data Collection)
The following tools are used solely for technical operations such as networking, image loading, media playback, local storage, and background scheduling. We may utilize the data you supply, in accordance with this policy, to provide our offerings or to get in touch with you. Specific applications include the following:

  4. Meeting Legal Requirements – We hold and manage your information to the extent needed to fulfill our legal duties. This may encompass recording, auditing, analyzing, or otherwise handling your data in compliance with applicable regulations, including during urgent circumstances.

Your Control Options

You can restrict data gathering through the following measures:

Your Authority to Erase Data

Throughout your use of our application, you maintain complete authority over your personal information and may remove stored records whenever you wish. We are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and facilitating data removal. You have the option to delete your activity history and other saved information via the app's configuration panel. Furthermore, removing the application from your device will automatically eliminate any locally held data. Please note that once data is erased, it cannot be retrieved. Should you have any inquiries concerning your deletion entitlements, do not hesitate to contact our support team for assistance.

Cookies and Related Tracking Technologies

In common with most online platforms, we employ cookies, pixel tags, and analogous mechanisms. Cookies are compact text files placed on your storage drive or within your device's memory. They hold details regarding your usage of our platform, supporting functions like identity verification, retaining your selected preferences and configurations, examining traffic flows and behavioral patterns, evaluating promotional campaign outcomes, and enabling social-sharing capabilities. Pixel tags are minor code snippets embedded in web pages or email messages, which assist us in tracking your engagement with that material.

Most browsers are set to permit cookies as a default. You can typically modify your browser preferences to reject or remove browser cookies if you choose. Nevertheless, kindly note that such actions might impact the accessibility and performance of our platform.

We utilize external analytics services to monitor visitor volume and usage behaviors across our platform. These solutions collect information transmitted by your device or our platform, including the pages accessed, extensions utilized, and additional details that assist us in refining our services. This analytical information is compiled with comparable data from other individuals in a manner that does not practically reveal anyone's identity.

We collaborate with outside advertising firms to display promotions across websites or other channels. To evaluate ad effectiveness and establish compensation amounts for these partners, we incorporate third-party components into our applications. Moreover, we may include such modules to gain deeper insight into how users engage with our platform.

Data Retention Period

We hold onto your personal information for a term of 48 months. We may continue to store and utilize your data as required to satisfy legal duties (such as adhering to relevant regulations), settle disagreements, and enforce our contractual terms and operational guidelines.

We additionally retain Usage Data for internal analytical review. This category of information is typically preserved for a briefer duration, unless it is required for reinforcing security, upgrading our Service capabilities, or we are mandated by law to extend its retention.

Information Disclosure

We do not sell or lease your personal data to outside parties. The SDKs referenced earlier transmit information exclusively to their individual providers for the designated functions, and we impose contractual obligations on them to handle data in compliance with relevant privacy legislation.

Circumstances Under Which We Disclose Your Data

Zama Zama does not sell, lease, or exchange your personal information with any external entity. We disclose personal information only when it is essential to deliver the services you have requested, sustain and manage PlayCine, complete purchase transactions, conform to applicable legal requirements, or defend our lawful interests and the integrity of our platform.

External Service Partners

To ensure the essential operations of PlayCine, we engage with thoroughly vetted third-party service partners. These partners assist with functions including user verification, payment handling, analytical reporting, installation tracking, cloud hosting, fraud detection, and application performance oversight.

Depending on which function you utilize, these external partners may handle restricted types of data, such as:

Every external partner handles personal data exclusively for carrying out the specific tasks they perform on our account, and does so in line with their respective privacy notices and relevant data protection regulations. We do not permit our service partners to employ your personal information for their own separate promotional or advertising activities.

AI-Assisted Media Handling

When you choose to submit images, video clips, or other files for AI-supported manipulation, your materials are employed exclusively to produce the outcomes you have asked for.

Your submitted media is never marketed, sublicensed, or disclosed to outside entities for promotional activities, behavioral analysis, or developing broad AI systems. Such files are handled solely in connection with the specific task you initiate and are automatically removed in line with the storage timelines set out in this Privacy Policy.

Legal Circumstances for Disclosure

We may release your personal data only when we consider that doing so is required for the following purposes:

Corporate Transactions

Should PlayCine or Zama Zama participate in a merger, acquisition, structural reorganization, funding round, asset divestiture, or comparable business event, your personal data may be included among the assets transferred.

Under these circumstances, the acquiring party will be obligated to safeguard your personal information under privacy standards that are essentially comparable to those outlined in this Privacy Policy, and in compliance with relevant data protection regulations.

Safeguards for Data Protection

We treat the security of your personal details with serious concern. To prevent illegal access, exposure, or other forms of compromise, we have put in place reasonable physical, technical, and organizational controls for information collected via your interaction with our Platform offerings. We are dedicated to making every reasonable effort to secure your data.

Our security protocols are routinely assessed and adjusted as necessary to keep pace with operational developments, technological progress, and regulatory mandates. These precautions include, yet are not confined to, technical and administrative security frameworks, permission restrictions, and staff awareness initiatives.

Although we place strong emphasis on defending your data, kindly recognize that no approach to internet transmission or electronic archiving is entirely foolproof. Even though we aim to safeguard your personal information using commonly accepted practices, total security remains unattainable.

Should we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will inform you in accordance with relevant legal obligations. By using the Platform, you consent to receive such notices through electronic means.
